Code Retention & Repository Ownership Policy
Source code ownership, intellectual property, and data preservation before and after handover.
Before handover, source code and working staging branches remain studio property. If an app is canceled or terminated before handover, staging and demo environments are shut down and the studio slot is released.
After handover is executed, 100% of the repository, source code, and cloud deployment credentials are transferred directly to the client’s GitHub/GitLab and cloud provider accounts. The client has perpetual, unencumbered ownership of all deliverables.
The studio provides a 14-day warranty for critical bug fixes post-handover. Later fixes or feature expansions run through the standard studio ticket or new app request process.
Post-cancellation data retention: Studio keeps client activity logs and project archives for 30 days following subscription cancellation to allow asset export, after which staging environments and temporary artifacts are permanently purged.
